Excellent first radio
I’d not had a radio like this before but after a lot of research settled on this model. I don’t have a ham license only wanted it to listen to aviation and marine chatter and I’ve not been disappointed. Using chirp it was easy to program all the frequencies I needed. The radio comes with an excellent manual that explains how to use it especially for someone who has never used a radio before but the model is good for an experienced person too, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were two aerials too. Very good quality and price. I’m very happy with my purchase
