Programming and Operation
Programming can be done manually by entering frequency mode, selecting the band, and setting the frequency before saving to a channel. Alternatively, use Baofeng programming software and programming cable for easier setup. For repeater operation, set the receive frequency (repeater frequency output) and transmit frequency with a frequency shift (positive or negative). Simplex operation uses the same frequency for both transmit and receive, suitable for short-range communication.
Additional Features
Memory channels store specific settings for quick access, allowing same memory channels with identical configurations. Other settings include CTCSS/DCS for filtering signals, transmit power (high at 4W or low at 1W), and reverse mode for swapping frequencies, enhancing flexibility for users.
