Option 1: Bluetooth App (Easiest). Download the "OLA Radio" app on your smartphone to program frequencies wirelessly.
Option 2: CHIRP. The UV-32 is supported by CHIRP. Select "UV-21ProGPS" as the model if "UV-32" is not yet listed.
Q: Can I charge it with my phone charger?
Yes. The battery features a USB-C port, allowing you to charge it with a standard USB-C cable connected to a phone charger, power bank, or laptop.
Q: Does it have Airband?
Yes. It covers the 108-136 MHz AM band, allowing you to listen to aircraft and air traffic control towers.
Q: What is the real-world range?
With 10W of power, the UV-32 offers extended range. In open environments (hilltops, sea), you can expect 10km+. In dense urban areas, the 10W power penetrates buildings better than standard radios, typically offering 2-5km range.
