BAOFENG UV-10R

The BaoFeng Radio UV-10R is a compact hand held transceiver providing max 10 watts in the frequency range of 136-174 MHz and 400-480MHz (520MHz later versions), providing local-area two-way amateur communications along with unmatched monitoring capability.

It is a compact, economical HT . Dual watch and dual reception is supported. You get up to 128 memories. Other features include: selectable wide/narrow, battery save function, VOX, DCS/CTCSS encode, key lock and built in flashlight. Selectable frequency steps include: 2.5, 5, 6.25, 10, 12.5 and 25 kHz. With high / low TX power selectable busy channel lock-out(BCLO) function for you to choose at different situation. This radio comes with an SMA-Female antenna, flexible antenna, BL-5 Li-ion battery (7.4V 2500 mAh (2800mAh label)), belt clip, wrist strap, AC adapter and drop-in charging tray.

    Great little radio and at an incredible price - robust and packed with features. The operating manual is pretty useless but everything you need to know can be found on the web. Make sure you know what you are buying - to use most of the facilities on this radio legally you must have an Amateur Radio licence - it's NOT a "walkie-talkie", although, with great care, it can be set up and used as one. Recommended.
